Principles of integration

Successful technology integration at any grade level requires to presence of certain essential conditions:

1. A vision of technology use supported by individuals in leadership roles
2. Educators skilled in the use of technology for learning
3. Student-centered approaches to learning
4. Access to appropriate hardware and software
5. Technical assistance for using and maintaining technology resources
6. Ongoing financial support
7. Assessment of the effectiveness of technology for learning
8. Community partnerships
